Tour description: Hands in the Clay – Pottery Workshop with an Artisan in Hammamet

Escape the hustle and bustle of your resort for half a day to enjoy a special and authentic experience in Hammamet. This excursion takes you to meet a local potter, the custodian of an ancient craft passed down from generation to generation.

In the peaceful setting of his workshop, infused with the scent of clay and the authenticity of traditional techniques, you will be introduced to the art of pottery. Guided by the potter’s expert hand and insightful advice, you will discover the secrets of slipware and learn how to shape a piece on a traditional potter’s wheel or by hand.

This is an invitation to slow down, to disconnect from the digital world, and to reconnect with the simple and rewarding pleasure of creating with your own hands. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, an art lover, or simply looking for a relaxing family activity, this workshop is perfect for you. Leave with your own creation, a unique and emotionally charged souvenir of your time in Tunisia.
