What you can expect

Spend the day engrossing yourself in Alaska’s fascinating heritage with this journey through the interior region’s culture and history. Tour museums, including the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Centre and Museum of the North, as well as the Alyeska Pipeline.

After being picked up from your hotel, start your cultural immersion at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Centre. Be captivated by the compelling exhibits and artefacts showcasing the native Athabascan legacy. Continue to gain new perspective about Alaskan tradition at the Museum of the North on the Fairbanks campus, viewing the extensive diversity of research collections.

Next, venture off to the Alyeska Pipeline for a background lesson on the ambitious 800-mile project. Depending on the season, you then make a stop at the extensive 44-acre Pioneer Park or visit the Santa Claus House in North Pole, before concluding your day with a comfortable ride back to your hotel.
