What you can expect
We'll meet at the entrance to the Library of Congress and begin our adventure in the heart of Washington, D.C. (the US Capitol).
As soon as we meet, we'll begin to explore the secrets of Washington, D.C., where all the political power of the United States is concentrated. To do this, we'll first go to the Capitol.
We'll admire this imposing neoclassical building that has inspired numerous government buildings around the world. In fact, Cuba, Argentina, and Puerto Rico have their own replicas. As we go inside, we'll learn all about the origins of Congress and see its spectacular dome.
The next stop will be the Library of Congress, one of the largest in the world. In addition to its beauty, the interior of the library contains priceless treasures, such as one of the first Bibles printed by Gutenberg.
To finish the tour, we'll visit the Supreme Court, where we'll tell you about the characteristics of the country's main judicial body. Its imposing columns and friezes depicting the country's great legislators are some of its most notable attractions.
To end our visit, we'll say goodbye outside the Supreme Court.
