Activity itinerary

Aguimes (Pass by)
At 9:00 AM, you’ll begin your journey towards the village of Agüimes. Your first stop will be at the Historical Interpretation Centre, located on the charming San Antón Square, right in the heart of Agüimes’ historic quarter. This centre is an essential visit for anyone wishing to understand the architectural, artistic, and social evolution of this emblematic town. Through its exhibitions, the centre showcases the various building types that have shaped local history: rural homes, bourgeois residences, artisan workshops, hermitages, churches, convents, and even archaeological sites. Each space highlights the cultural influences and ways of life that have defined Agüimes over the centuries. This educational and immersive experience offers a deeper appreciation of Canarian heritage, while shedding light on the traditions and roots of the region.
Guayadeque ravine (Pass by)
Then, a change of scenery awaits. We’ll head to the Barranco de Guayadeque, a deep ravine that cuts across the island and has been declared both a Natural Monument and a Site of Cultural Interest. Stretching over 15 kilometres, this dramatic canyon will captivate you with its wild landscapes, lush vegetation along its slopes, and winding shape. Many of its natural caves have been transformed into private homes and cave restaurants, preserving a unique way of life. We’ll walk through the troglodyte village of Cueva Bermeja, and enjoy lunch in one of these cave restaurants. (Lunch not included in the Tour Price.)
Playa de Tufia (Pass by)
We will then continue your journey towards Tufia, located in the municipality of Telde, on the eastern coast of the island. This small hamlet of whitewashed houses, nestled among volcanic rocks, overlooks a cove with crystal-clear waters and black sand. What makes Tufia so special is its timeless atmosphere: no paved roads, no mass tourism—just the gentle sound of the waves and traces of the ancient Guanches, the island’s first inhabitants. It is also an important archaeological site, with troglodyte dwellings carved into the rock. For lovers of diving and snorkelling, its marine life is renowned for its biodiversity, making it a hidden gem for underwater exploration.
Mirador Pico de Bandama (Pass by)
Next, we head towards the Bandama volcano, where the Pico de Bandama viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views over the Bandama caldera, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the vineyards of Tafira Alta, and even the Atlantic Ocean. This protected natural site isone of the island’s most impressive geological landmarks, Featuring an almost perfectly circular caldera measuring 1,000 metres in diameter and 200 metres deep, formed approximately 5,000 years ago. On the way to this site, we’ll pass through local bodegas, as this region is known for its vineyards and the production of excellent Canarian wines. We will then drive you back to your hotel.
