In Genoa sea and mountains are two sides of the same coin: the city climbs up the surrounding hillsides connected to the sea through picturesque ancient paths. Thanks to public cable railways and lifts it’s possible to get to the high city in a short time and enjoy fantastic panoramas.
Going up and down the “Creuze” you'll be able to see Genoa from different panoramic viewpoints, then you'll visit a medieval district and listen to original songs that will explain the history of the city and the personality of the inhabitants.
From the highest point, you'll get down to the centre again passing by a really nice area with colourful houses, gardens, trees, and flowers.
Bear in mind that there are steps and hills throughout the itinerary, so although it's not particularly tiring, it's only suitable for those willing to walk a bit.
