The expedition begins on the banks of the Chagres River, where we will board the boat that will take us along the tour route. At the helm will be an expert wildlife-watching guide, who will be responsible for identifying the various species that inhabit the islands in this vast reservoir. Within a few minutes, we will reach Gatun Lake, and as we make our way across its waters, we will pass ships transiting between the Miraflores and Gatun Locks, heading either to the Caribbean or to the Pacific.
