What you can expect

  • Step beyond the typical tourist path into our family workshop, just 12 minutes from Galle, set alongside peaceful rice fields. Learn traditional Sri Lankan jewelry-making directly from a government-recognized master craftsman with decades of experience.

With your own workstation, you’ll be guided through the fascinating process of creating a unique silver piece. Depending on your design, you can make a ring, pendant, bracelet, or another piece that reflects your own style.

This isn’t a quick tourist demonstration where you simply watch someone else work. You’ll get involved, learn the techniques, make decisions, and experience the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands.

Using genuine 925 sterling silver and traditional artisan tools, you’ll experience the craft step by step—designing, shaping, hammering, soldering, filing, and polishing your piece under the guidance of our master craftsman.

We are not a workshop operated by brokers. We are the artisan family behind the craft, and you’ll meet and learn directly from us in our own studio. This personal connection is what makes the experience truly special.

During your hands-on session, slow down and enjoy a freshly prepared traditional Sri Lankan meal with our family. Share stories, taste local food, and experience the warmth of Sri Lankan family hospitality in a peaceful countryside setting surrounded by village life and green rice fields.

You’ll leave with more than a piece of silver. You’ll take home something you personally created, along with the memory of meeting a real Sri Lankan artisan family and experiencing a traditional craft that is slowly disappearing.
