Start the day at Monte Brasil, enjoying a panoramic view over the city of Angra do Heroísmo. We continue along the coast to the Serretinha viewpoint, where you can see the Ilhéus das Cabras, passing through the parishes of Ribeirinha and Feteira.
After passing through the village of Porto Judeu, continue to Baía da Salga, a historic landmark in the history of Portugal.
Head a little further inland and enjoy the tranquility of the village of São Sebastião, where you will find one of the oldest churches in the Azores.
Continue to Serra do Cume and prepare to be amazed by the view of the “Manta de Retalhos” (Patchwork Quilt) in the largest caldera in the Azores.
After a lunch break in the city of Praia da Vitória, continue the adventure with a climb up Serra do Facho, where the view over the city is breathtaking.
Optionally, head inland and descend into the impressive volcanic cave of Algar do Carvão*.
Before ending the day at the natural pools of Biscoitos, surrounded by characteristic lava rock formations, from which the famous vineyards also spring, you can enjoy a refreshing dip.
