The Amazon Sightseeing Tour is a full-day excursion to the Hola Vida Ecological Reserve, located in Pastaza Province, Ecuador. The reserve is a wildlife sanctuary that hosts a wide variety of flora and fauna. The sightseeing tour offers visitors the opportunity to explore the rainforest, learn about indigenous culture, and experience the natural beauty of the Amazon.

Itinerary
8:00 AM: Depart Baños for the city of Puyo.
9:00 AM: Arrival at the “Mira Mera” vantage point. Visit the vantage point and enjoy the panoramic views.
10:30 AM: Continue the journey to the Kichwa Community “Wayuri”.
11:00 AM: Arrival at the “Wayuri” Kichwa Community. Cultural exchange with the community, learning about their lifestyle, participating in activities such as blowpipe shooting, achiote painting, and traditional dance, and admiring their handicrafts.
12:30 p.m.: Canoe ride on the Puyo River (approximately 45 minutes).
1:00 p.m.: Typical lunch in the community, sampling “maito de tilapia” (tilapia wrapped in banana leaves and grilled) and “Wayusa” (a type of tea).
2:00 p.m.: Hike to the “Hola Vida” waterfall (approximately 1 hour return). Enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfall and observe the local flora and fauna.
3:00 PM: Visit to the “Indichuris” vantage point. Admiring the Amazonian landscape and taking photos.
04:00 PM: Visit to a local family engaged in cocoa cultivation and processing. Participation in the preparation of organic chocolate using traditional artisanal techniques.
5:30 PM (approx.): Drop-off in Baños.
