We start by visiting Himeji Castle. Here we have one of the 12 authentic Japanese castles. The keep dates from 1618. The ensemble offers us a glimpse of Japan's feudal past. We have a great history lesson!

Then we go to Kobe. Mountain and sea meet proudly. We discover city centre Sannomiya, Nankingmachi Chinatown, and finally the port, with Harborland. Kobe is a pretty modern city. It is full of contrasts and charm. You're bound to like it.

Himeji Castle, nicknamed the White Heron Castle by its colour, is a Japanese fortified castle. It dates from medieval times and is one of only 12 Japanese castles to have been perfectly preserved. UNESCO has designated this castle as a World Heritage Site. It is beautiful! And now it is open to our visits.
