Tour of the Beaches of Montevideo, the Gold Coast, Piriápolis, and Punta Ballena, with a Visit to Casa Pueblo
We will begin our tour by enjoying the beaches of Montevideo and the Gold Coast, a region known for its golden sands and calm waters. We will stop in Piriápolis to visit Cerro de San Antonio and then continue to Punta Ballena, where we can admire the majestic Casa Pueblo, a masterpiece by the renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. This unique structure, which is both a house and a sculpture, offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and the beaches of Punta del Este.
Next, we will head to Punta del Este, where we will stroll along the iconic Mansa Beach, known for its calm, tranquil waters, and along Brava Beach, famous for its waves and the “La Mano” sculpture, a symbol of the seaside resort. Next, we will explore the city's most exclusive areas, such as Golf, Cantegril, and San Rafael, which are known for their impressive mansions and lavish summer homes.
The tour will also take us to the famous undulating bridges, which offer a unique experience as we cross them, before returning along the Playa Brava coastline to the harbour, where we will enter the Peninsula, the heart of Punta del Este.
At noon, we will have the option to enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants, and afterwards, you will have free time to explore Avenida Gorlero and the famous Calle 20, home to the most exclusive and prestigious boutiques.
Finally, at 4:00 p.m., we will begin our return journey to Montevideo.
