Once you have been collected from your accommodation, you will make your way to the tour starting point. The excursion starts at the base of the crater and along a serpentine path upwards, the track eventually arrives to the edge of the crater of the volcano Montaña de Escanfraga.

Walking along the path known as the “camel route”, you will reach the highest point of the volcano, which is the highest in Fuerteventura. You can challenge yourself on the adventurous climb up the edge of the volcano to the highest point, rewarding yourself with stunning views over large parts of Fuerteventura.

As you hike you will learn how the elders used this volcano to survive by taking advantage of the rain for the cultivation of grains. At the conclusion of your experience, you will be returned back to your accommodation.
