OPTION 1 : 2 Days 1 Night Selous GR Safari with Flights
Flying in early in the morning from Zanzibar to Selous. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a bush lunch as a break. End your game drive in our Africa Safari Selous accommodation, where they will welcome you with drinks, dinner and a comfortable bed. The following morning, you will fly back to the beach.
Day 1 : You will be picked up early in the morning at the hotel you are staying for a transfer to the airport. From here you will catch your flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park. Once you have arrived, your shared safari game drive will start, with a mid-morning coffee/tea break. During the game drive explore the wildlife and environment of Tanzania. Our driver guides have a lot of experience with the area and the wildlife and love to tell you everything about it.
Experience an authentic safari bush lunch in the middle of the National Park! During break-time, a warm lunch will be served at set tables in the bush. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive.
After enjoying a full-day game drive you will head towards our Africa Safari Selous accommodation. After check-in, you will be shown your Banda Bungalow where you can take a nice shower and go to the restaurant to enjoy your dinner.
Day 2: Fly back to Zanzibar from Mtemere airstrip
The following morning, after breakfast, you will be brought to the airstrip of Selous Game Reserve, where your flight back to Zanzibar will depart. From here our driver will await you to bring you back to your hotel.
OPTION 2 (different option): 2-Day Selous Safari with Flights & Boat Tour
Explore Selous Game Reserve/Nyerere National Park from Zanzibar with flights, entrance fees, overnight accommodation, and a safari guide included. Enjoy a full-day jeep safari, a unique boat safari.
Day 1 : You will be picked up early in the morning at your hotel for a transfer to the airport for your flight from Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve.
Once you have arrived, your shared safari game drive will start, with a mid-morning coffee/tea break. During the game drive, you will explore the wildlife. After a bush lunch, you will continue with the shared game drive. You will have an overnight in your Africa Safari Selous banda bungalow, on a full-board basis.
Day 2: After having a breakfast, our driver will take you to the Rufiji River, where you will join a 2 hours boat safari. The Rufiji River is the largest and longest river in Tanzania.
You will for example see hippos, crocodiles and many species of birds. When lucky you might even see an elephant or giraffe drinking from the river!Our driver will bring you back to Africa Safari Selous for having a warm lunch.
In the afternoon, you will be brought to the airstrip, for your flight back to Zanzibar .
From here our driver will be awaiting you to bring you back to your hotel.
