What you can expect

Begin your journey with comfortable departures from Torrevieja or La Zenia and head to Santa Pola Port.

From Santa Pola, take a scenic boat ride across the Mediterranean Sea to reach the beautiful Isla de Tabarca. During the boat trip, enjoy views of the coastline and, depending on the boat, observe marine life through underwater viewing windows, offering a unique glimpse into the island’s protected marine reserve.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of the island, learning about its history as a pirate refuge and its transformation into a haven for biodiversity.

In the afternoon, return by boat to Santa Pola. Before heading back, stop for a short guided visit of the historic Castle of Santa Pola, a well-preserved 16th-century fortress that once protected the coast from pirate attacks.
