Depart from Sorrento by minibus and an authorised English-speaking guide to explore the main features of the area: the suggestive history of Pompeii and wine tasting in Bosco dei Medici winery.

The first part of the day will be dedicated to a visit of the archaeological site of Pompeii, where an authorised guide will lead you through the remains of this extraordinary city immortalised by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Pompeii is renowned all over the world for the exceptional relics, buildings and infrastructure of the site as it is well-preserved due to the city's burial under metres of ash and lava fragments. Visitors will be able to have a glimpse of what it must have been like to have actually lived there.

Lunch stop is at the winery Bosco dei Medici: great views of Mount Vesuvius: enjoy local cold cuts and cheeses; a traditional pasta dish with tomatoes sauce and a delicious dessert in jar.
The lunch is accompanied by four wines of own production.
Visit of the winery before or after the lunch.
Relax on the way back to Sorrento.
