Passes can be acquired through the official government website blcomino.com. Please ensure you acquire this pass in advance, as the daily pass allocation is limited. You will not be allowed to disembark at the Blue Lagoon without an official pass. For this trip, you are required to book the afternoon timeslot when applying for your pass. Kindly note that this is a government-mandated regulation and not a policy introduced by us. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

  • If you are making your own way to the boat, the departure is from Sliema Ferries, Triq Ix-Xatt, Sliema (in the area opposite the Burger King Restaurant). When you arrive at this location, you need to look for a Turkish Gullet (a traditional-design wooden sailing vessel); the name of the boat is the 'Hera'.

  • Non-foldable wheelchairs cannot be transported in vehicles or on the boat.
  • Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed on the boat.
  • Snorkelling equipment (mask and pipe, no fins) is available for hire on a first-come, first-served basis at a small fee of around €5 per person. This fee can change without prior notice.

Activity itinerary

Sliema (Pass by)
Departing from Sliema Ferries at 9:30 a.m., we embark on a full-day cruise along the north-eastern coast of Malta, passing by various villages and attractions that dot the shoreline, including St. Julian’s Bay, St. Paul’s Islands, Mellieħa, and many more.
St Julian's Bay (Pass by)
Originally a fisherman’s town, St. Julian’s is situated along the northern coast of Malta and is connected to the town of Sliema by a picturesque seaside promenade, which also includes Balluta Bay, Spinola Bay and St. George's Bay.
Qawra (Pass by)
Qawra is a zone within St. Paul's Bay in the Northern Region of Malta. It is located close to Buġibba and Salina, and it is a popular tourist seaside resort.
Bugibba (Pass by)
Buġibba is a zone within St. Paul's Bay in the Northern Region of Malta. It is located close to Qawra and Salina, and it is a popular tourist seaside resort.
St Paul's Islands (Pass by)
St. Paul's Island, also known as Selmunett, is a small island off Selmun, near the north-east of the main island of Malta. St. Paul's Island is sometimes split into two islands by a shallow isthmus, and it is therefore sometimes referred to in the plural as St. Paul's Islands. St. Paul's Island has been uninhabited since World War II, and it is the second largest uninhabited island in Malta, having an area of 0.1 square kilometres. The Acts of the Apostles tell the storey of how Paul the Apostle was shipwrecked on an island, which Chapter 28 identifies as Malta, while on his way to Rome to face charges in 60 AD. Traditionally, St. Paul's Bay and St. Paul's Island are identified as the locations of this shipwreck. In 1844, a prominent statue of Saint Paul was erected on the island.
St. Paul's Bay
  • 1h
Situated on Malta’s breathtaking North Coast, St. Paul’s Bay is one of Malta’s largest seaside towns. Originally a fishing village, the area is known for its promenade stretching all the way to Qawra and Bugibba and offers spectacular views of St. Paul’s Island, where the Apostle is said to have been shipwrecked in 60 AD. Our first swim stop will be at St. Paul's Bay or beneath Selmun, depending on the weather.
Mellieha Bay (Pass by)
Perched on the stunning North Coast of the island, not far from the charming town of Mellieħa, Mellieħa Bay is renowned as one of the most popular and stunning bays in Malta.
Dahlet Qorrot Beach
  • 1h
We then proceed towards the island of Gozo, where we shall stop for a second swim at Daħlet Qorrot Bay, one of Gozo's most picturesque bays.
Comino
  • 1h
Comino is a small, uninhabited island located between the main island of Malta and the island of Gozo. It is known for its crystal-clear waters, secluded beaches, and stunning natural scenery. It is a popular destination for snorkelling, diving, swimming, and hiking enthusiasts. Comino, with an area of only 3.5 square kilometres, has no cars and is mostly uninhabited. The primary draw of the island is the Blue Lagoon. During the summer, many people visit this bay with its sparkling turquoise, crystal-clear waters, and white sand. Santa Marija Bay and San Niklaw Bay are among the additional beaches found on the island.
Blue Lagoon
  • 1h 30m
Our second swim stop will be at the famous Blue Lagoon. Get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of this gorgeous lagoon! This picturesque bay, with its transparent cyan waters, white sandy base, and rich marine life, is the perfect spot for a relaxing and unforgettable break. Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, relaxing on the boat, or simply enjoying a walk in the countryside of Comino Island. We will stay at the Blue Lagoon for approximately 2–2½ hours, allowing you plenty of time to unwind and have an unforgettable afternoon.
Sliema Promenade (Pass by)
Our cruise concludes as we sail past the delightful Sliema seafront promenade before returning to Sliema Ferries.
