What you can expect

  • Explore Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest national park, spanning an impressive 1,317 square kilometres. It is a haven for elusive leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, elephants, nearly 140 varieties of birds, and numerous other animals.

    The park's distinguishing feature is the presence of “Willus” (natural lakes), which add to the park's wilderness ambiance. What sets Wilpattu National Park apart is its denser forest cover compared to other national parks in Sri Lanka.
