Itinerary
Day 1: Puno - Chivay
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puno between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. and head for Chivay, about 300 kilometres away. On the way, we will cross the beautiful landscape of the altiplano, where we will see wetlands, lagoons, streams and plains. We will also see a variety of mammals such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas, as well as a great variety of birds such as flamingos and guallatas, among others.

We will continue the route to Patahuasi, and from there we will enter the Colca Canyon. On this route we will pass by the crater of the extinct Chucura volcano and we will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, where we will appreciate a great part of the Western Cordillera from 4910 metres.

Finally, between 13:00 and 13:30 we will arrive at a hotel in Chivay where you can have lunch on your own. Dinner, which will also be on your own, and accommodation will take place in this establishment.

You can take advantage of the free time after lunch to visit Chivay at your leisure, or to enjoy the famous thermal baths of the town.

Day 2: Chivay - Cruz del Condor - Chivay - Arequipa
We will have breakfast at the hotel and start the day by taking you to the Cruz del Condor, the most important viewpoint of the Colca Canyon. There you will have two hours of free time to admire the beauty of the landscape and, who knows, maybe you will be lucky and see the majestic condors flying.

Afterwards, we will return by bus to Chivay passing through the beautiful Andean villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque. We will also cross the terraces, archaeological remains and narrow paths of the Colca Canyon. Did you know that it is one of the deepest canyons in the world?

Once we arrive in Chivay, you will have an hour free for lunch and, around 1:00 pm, we will return to Arequipa. Arrival in Arequipa is scheduled between 16:30 and 17:00.
