Procida and Ischia: a perfect combination!!!! If you have chosen Procida for your holiday, you absolutely must also visit the island of Ischia. The two islands are very close to each other but have completely different characteristics. Indeed, Ischia is famous for its wonderful and “miraculous” thermal springs. There are several thermal parks on the island of Ischia, but if you really want to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the same time, we recommend spending a wellness day at the Aphrodite Apollon Thermal Park, a true slice of paradise, secluded and surrounded by greenery. This park is located in the south of the island, specifically in the village of Sant'Angelo, so after a day of total relaxation, you will have the opportunity to visit and experience this truly unique and authentic fishing village.
You will depart from Procida early in the morning. After a short ferry ride during which you can admire the coastline, you will arrive at the Port of Ischia, where one of our drivers will be waiting to take you to the Thermal Park. At the Aphrodite Apollon Thermal Park, you will spend a day of total relaxation, pampered by the warmth of the thermal waters and captivated by the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The Park overlooks the beautiful Bay of Maronti; this unique location will allow you to alternative between swimming in the sea and swimming in the thermal waters. Inside the park, you will find a natural sauna carved into the rock and 8 pools with different water temperatures (ranging from 68˚F to 104˚F). It is important to note that the waters at the Thermal Park are of the salt-bromine-iodine-bicarbonate-alkaline type and are not treated with chemicals in order to preserve their beneficial properties.
You will also have the opportunity to lie back and sunbathe in comfort on the sun loungers or deck chairs available to all guests. You can enjoy fresh water showers and changing rooms at no extra cost, as well as a beauty pharma area for massages or body and facial treatments, a snack bar area for a light, wholesome meal, or a pleasant à la carte restaurant with a natural sea view.
But the surprises don't end there: upon leaving the Park, right on the shore of the Spiaggia dei Maronti, a small traditional boat awaits you, bound for Piazzetta di Sant'Angelo. In just a few minutes, you'll be in the heart of the village, in the famous “piazzetta.” You can stroll freely among the shops and boutiques, wander through the charming narrow streets, take plenty of photos, enjoy a delicious gelato, or have a refreshing aperitif – we highly recommend the orange and Colaci lemon juice, a true “vitamin bomb.”
At the end of your experience of sea, sun, spas, and charming towns, a driver will take you back to the Port of Ischia for your return trip to Procida. This package includes entrance fees to the Thermal Park and all transfers (by sea and by land).
