Itinerary
Day 1: Pokhara to Ghandruk
Morning: Depart from Pokhara early in the morning. You'll be travelling by jeep, which provides a more comfortable and faster option compared to trekking.
Enroute: The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, passing through small towns and terraced fields. You'll also get glimpses of the Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains along the way.
Afternoon: Arrive in Ghandruk in the afternoon. Check into your chosen accommodation and have some rest.
Explore Ghandruk: Ghandruk is a picturesque village with traditional stone houses and a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. You can take a leisurely walk around the village, visit the Gurung Museum to learn about the local culture, and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Overnight: Spend the night at a guesthouse or lodge in Ghandruk.
Day 2: Ghandruk to Pokhara
Morning: Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna mountain range. The views during sunrise are absolutely breathtaking.
Breakfast: Enjoy a traditional Gurung breakfast at your accommodation.
Hike to Kimche (Optional): If you're up for a short hike, you can hike down to Kimche from Ghandruk. From Kimche, you can take a jeep back to Pokhara. The hike is relatively easy and offers more opportunities to experience the local scenery.
Jeep Ride to Pokhara: If you choose not to hike, you can directly take a jeep from Ghandruk to Pokhara.
Afternoon: Arrive back in Pokhara by afternoon, completing your 2-day Ghandruk jeep tour.
