Day 1: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc (Speedboat)
10:30 AM: Pickup from your hotel in Phnom Penh or at the pier. Transfer to the harbour and board a speedboat to Chau Doc.
Enjoy a scenic journey along the Mekong River as you cross from Cambodia into Vietnam, passing floating villages and riverside life along the way.
Arrive in Chau Doc at around 7:00 PM, a peaceful town near the Cambodian border known for its diverse culture and riverside charm.
Check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to relax or explore the town at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 2: Chau Doc – Cham Village – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Can Tho (Breakfast, Lunch)
07:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
09:30 AM: Visit a Cham minority village, home to the Muslim Cham community. Discover their unique culture, traditional stilt houses, and daily life, and visit a local mosque.
Continue to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, one of the most beautiful ecological reserves in the Mekong Delta. Take a motorboat ride through peaceful waterways surrounded by lush cajuput trees. Enjoy the serene atmosphere while observing diverse wildlife and bird species, including rare storks.
Return to Chau Doc for lunch at a local restaurant, featuring regional Mekong Delta specialities.
02:00 PM: Depart for Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta, known for its vibrant river life.
Arrive at around 6:30 PM, check in to your hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Cooking Class – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast, Lunch)
06:30 AM: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then depart by motorboat to visit Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most vibrant floating market in the Mekong Delta. Experience the lively early-morning trading scene as local vendors sell fruits and goods directly from their boats.
Continue to visit a traditional rice noodle-making workshop to learn about the local production process. Then, stop at a local boat to enjoy fresh tropical fruits while discovering the daily life. Visit a local market in the centre. Next, explore Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery
12:00 PM: Join a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class, where you will prepare local dishes yourself under the guidance of a chef. Enjoy lunch with the dishes you have cooked.
After lunch, relax and take a short walk along countryside.
Depart Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive around 5:00 PM. End of tour
