What you can expect

Embark on a full-day tour to Amboseli National Park and see the Big Five in the wild. Marvel at the sight of elephants, lions, and zebras in their natural habitat, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop.

Begin your adventure with a game drive, spotting herds of protected elephants, many with immense ivory tusks. Head to Observation Hill for panoramic views of the entire park and the swamps below, where elephants gather daily. Walk around the hill, one of the few places in the park you can explore on foot.

Keep your binoculars handy to spot over 400 varieties of birds, from flamingos to pelicans, especially around the swamp and marshlands.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Oltukai Lodge, one of the nicest restaurants in the park, or bring your own picnic to enjoy at Observation Hill. After lunch, take a shorter game drive, where you might spot elephants roaming from the marshes.

If time permits, visit a Maasai village to meet the indigenous people who live within the park’s borders and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
