This is a Daily Shared Tour using a Shuttle & Estafet (Relay) System, which allows us to guarantee departure every day, even for a solo traveller (1 person).
Please note that this differs from “conventional” group tours that depart only on specific dates with a fixed vehicle and a single guide for the entire duration.
• Transport: We use a Shuttle System. You will change vehicles and meet different drivers at specific transit points.
• Guides: We utilise Local Guides (as photographer) at each destination (Tumpaksewu, Bromo, Ijen). You will not be accompanied by the same guide from start to finish.

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Bromo Sunrise and Crater
Begin with a midnight pickup from your accommodation in Malang. Travel to the Bromo area and transfer to a 4x4 Jeep to reach the sunrise viewpoints. After sunrise, the vehicle will take you across the “Sea of Sand” to the base of Mount Bromo, where you can hike to the crater rim. Afterwards, continue the drive to your accommodation in Banyuwangi.
Day 2: Ijen Crater and Onward Travel
Depart at 1:00 AM for the Ijen Crater area. With a local guide, hike to the summit to see the Blue Fire (visibility is subject to weather and volcanic activity) and the acidic turquoise lake. After descending, receive a ferry ticket for those continuing to Bali from Ketapang Port, or a return transfer to Malang/Surabaya.
