What you can expect

  • Embark on a day tour from Ljubljana to the enchanting Lake Bled, a jewel nestled in the Julian Alps. Discover the highlights of the area, including the charming town, Bled Castle, and the wonderful views of the lake.

Start with pickup from at Ibis Styles Hotel in Ljubljana.
Visit Bled Castle for a historical journey and panoramic views of the lake and its surroundings.
Travel to Lake Bled and enjoy a short Pletna boat ride to Bled Island, where the Church of the Assumption stands against the backdrop of the Julian Alps. Climb the 99 stone steps to the church and ring the “Wishing Bell.”

Before concluding your day, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque lakeside promenade. Admire the swans gracefully gliding on the crystal-clear waters and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.

For those seeking a bit of adventure, consider renting a rowing boat to paddle around the lake or hike up to the Ojstrica viewpoint for a breathtaking panorama of Lake Bled.

Finally, relax on the return journey to the capital, with drop-off back at your accommodation.
