A unique day out that gives you the chance to drive by timeless traditional villages, to enjoy scenic views at the Troodos Mountains area and to visit the two largest and most beautiful cities of the island!
First, we drive to the capital city of the island Nicosia where you will have some free time for a coffee break, or to stroll around the Walled Old Town Centre, or to walk up to the “Green Line” – the border that divides Nicosia into two since the Turkish invasion in 1974.
We then continue our journey driving towards Troodos Mountains and we stop at Virgin Mary of Asinou Church (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built in the 12th century. The interior of the church is covered with beautiful painted frescoes that will take your breath away.
Our next stop is Troodos Mountains Square, the highest point of the mountains, where free time will be given for lunch (optional extra cost). Situated right in the green heart of the island, this location offers some of the most breathtaking mountain views in Cyprus.
The return journey will take you through Limassol, the second largest town of the island, where you will have some free time to relax or to explore this beautiful coastal town.
