After lunch, your driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in Djerba to begin your journey to the desert.

You will leave the island along the famous Roman Roadway, an ancient historic road built in Roman times to connect Djerba to the mainland.

The route then continues to Matmata, which is famous for its unique landscapes and troglodyte dwellings carved into the earth. This village is famous all over the world for its traditional architecture and its stunning natural scenery.

In the mid-afternoon, you will arrive in the Sabria Desert, at the gateway to the great Sahara.

You will settle into the Dunes Insolites Saharan camp, located in the heart of the dunes.

After settling into a comfortable Bedouin tent, you can enjoy the magical atmosphere of the desert.

You’ll spend the night in a traditional Saharan tent, surrounded by the dunes.
