At 7:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and depart for Chinchero, which we will arrive in just 40 minutes. In this town we will visit the church, which dates back to the 17th century and was one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. Afterwards, we will see an agricultural enclosure belonging to the Incas and also to the Killke culture. Welcome to the Sacred Valley! Next, we will arrive at Maras to visit the peculiar archaeological site of Moray, beware of its circular terraces! Afterwards, we will head to the northeast of the city to admire the famous salt mines, 3,000 salt wells from a natural spring. We will tell you about their ancient legend! With renewed energy, we will continue towards Ollantaytambo, from where we will have magnificent views of the Valley of the Incas. We will walk through the cobbled streets of this town that was an important enclave of the Inca Empire with a large ceremonial temple. We will also visit the archaeological zone of Ollantaytambo and then conclude the excursion by dropping you off at the train station or at your hotel in Ollantaytambo.
