Know before you book

    • Age and Safety: Customers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women may join if under 24 weeks by the trip's end.
    • Room Details All hotel rooms are equipped with either two Full/Double beds or one King/Queen bed, depending on availability at the hotel on the day of check-in. The maximum occupancy per room is four travellers.

    • Note: the two days may run in either order depending on departure date (Package A starts with the Columbia Icefield; Package B starts with Lake Louise). Moraine Lake is generally open June 1 to mid-October; refer to Banff National Park’s official announcement for actual dates.

What you can expect

  • Take in three of the Great Lakes and a string of classic Midwest towns on this four-day small-group loop out of Chicago, with a bilingual driver-guide and three hotel nights.

    Day one heads up the western shore of Lake Michigan into Wisconsin, with an optional visit to the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market, and a stop in the port city of Green Bay, before reaching Escanaba on Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

    Day two follows Lake Superior on a mandatory in-depth tour of the Pictured Rocks shoreline, taking in the colourful cliffs of Miner's Castle, the views from Miner's Beach, and the amber cascades of Tahquamenon Falls, then the historic Point Iroquois Lighthouse and the Soo Locks on the way to St. Ignace.

    Day three crosses by ferry to car-free Mackinac Island for a horse-drawn carriage ride past colonial architecture and lake views, before continuing to Traverse City.

    Day four travels south to the Dutch-themed town of Holland, with optional stops at Windmill Island Gardens and the Gilmore Car Museum, before the drive back to Chicago.
