Day 1: Baotou - Xiangshawan - Ordos
Start your trip with a pickup from your hotel in Baotou. Head to the Xiangshawan Desert, also known as the Resonant Sand Bay. Ride a camel through the desert, experience off-road driving, and visit the Liansha Island Resort.
Enjoy a Mongolian-style lunch before continuing to the Ordos Museum. Learn about the history of the region and see the exhibits on the Xiongnu culture and Mongolian costumes.
Spend the night at the Ordos Holiday Inn, located by the Ulan Mulun Lake. In the evening, take a stroll to the Music Fountain Square to watch the fountain show.
Day 2: Ordos - Yulin
Start your day with a visit to the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan. Watch a Mongolian wedding performance, visit the Sulede Altar, and explore the history and culture of the region.
Enjoy a local lunch before continuing to Yulin. Check in to your hotel and head to the Yulin North Tower to watch the sunset.
Day 3: Yulin - Jingtai Wave Valley - Baotou
Start your day with an early morning drive to the Jingtai Wave Valley. Explore the Flame Danxia, the Water Danxia, and the Earth Danxia. Enjoy a local lunch and explore the undeveloped valley.
Return to Baotou or Ordos, depending on your travel arrangements.
