Day 1: Arrival at Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, be welcomed and transferred to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating game drive. Your guide will lead you to prime game viewing spots within the park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees. The game drive will focus around the Tarangire River, the main water source in the park, which attracts a variety of animals including giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and lions.
In the afternoon, your driver-guide will take you to a perfect spot for a hot picnic lunch. After lunch, continue exploring the park, scanning for various animals and birds, with over 500 species having been spotted in the area.
Day 2: Game en Route to Central Serengeti
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a thrilling journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti Central. Along the way, enjoy an incredible game drive, spotting diverse wildlife against the backdrop of the stunning landscapes. Arriving in Serengeti Central by afternoon, continue your adventure with a game drive, exploring the region's vast savannahs and rich ecosystems.
Day 3: Game en Route to Ndutu Area
Embark on a scenic drive from the heart of the Serengeti to the renowned Ndutu area, renowned for its rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. As you journey south, marvel at the vast plains teeming with game, from herds of wildebeest to prowling predators. Upon arrival in Ndutu, set out on an exhilarating afternoon game drive, exploring the diverse habitats and spotting the Big Five in their natural environment.
Day 4: Full Day Following the Great Migration
Experience the thrill of a full-day game drive in the Ndutu area, perfectly timed with the Great Migration's calving season. Witness the awe-inspiring sight of thousands of wildebeest and zebras giving birth, bringing new life to the savannah. This season attracts predators, offering a rare chance to observe the raw dynamics of nature as they unfold.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Equipped with packed lunch you will drive to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you will have the opportunity to search for the Big Five animals.
After lunch, you will embark on afternoon game drive an opportunity to search for buffaloes, zebras, elands, gazelles, elephants, lions, and scavengers like spotted hyenas and jackals. The crater also offers a glorious opportunity to see the endangered and rare black rhinos. After the game drive, you will ascend from the crater and drive to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and and overnight stay.
Day 6: Drive Back to Arusha and Depart
After breakfast, you will drive back to Arusha town. Enjoy lunch at one of the city's restaurants, followed by some leisure time. Depending on your departure flight, you will then be escorted to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
