After picking up from your hotel between 03:00 and 03:30 a.m. start the journey to the Colca Valley. Your first stop will be in Chivay, where you will enjoy breakfast. Afterwards you will continue to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor where you can appreciate the depth of the canyon in combination with the surrounding landscape and observe the flight of the Andean condor over the canyon. The time at the viewpoint is approximately 30 minutes.

After visiting the viewpoint of the Cross of the condor, continue the journey until you reach Pampa San Miguel, where you begin the descent into Colca Canyon. The hike lasts about 4 hours, descending from 3,300 m above sea level to 2,100 m above sea level, crossing nature trails and spectacular views. You can see the river that runs through the canyon. Around 1 :00 p.m. you will arrive at a small community called San Juan de Chuccho, where you will have time to have lunch and rest for a moment.

After the break, continue the walk for about 3 hours, walking among fruit trees, climbing paths and other descent, obtaining views of the other side of the canyon, until you reach the Oasis of Sangalle, a quiet place surrounded by vegetation, located about 1,900 m a.s.l. In the oasis you can relax and enjoy its swimming pool. In the evening you will have dinner and rest in comfortable rustic rooms.
