Day 1: Arequipa - Chivay
After picking you up at your accommodation in Arequipa, we will leave the city behind to enter the Colca Valley. For three hours we will cross the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve and make a stop at the Patapampa viewpoint.

Between lagoons and bofedales we will arrive at our first destination: Chivay. This town of tradition will welcome us at 3,600 metres above sea level. And in the afternoon, with our strength restored, we will visit the Calera thermal baths. We can immerse ourselves in its waters and enjoy its well-known medicinal properties.

We will return to Chivay and there we will have the opportunity to experience an evening in the purest style of the Colca Valley. A dinner and dance? While we taste the local flavours, we will be able to witness a typical dance show. The best way to end the day!

Day 2: Chivay - Maca - Yanque - Arequipa
We will enjoy breakfast at the Chivay hotel and continue touring the Colca Valley. With the first lights of the morning we will arrive at the emblematic Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor. There, for an hour, we will observe the flight of the condors and discover the crater of the Colca Canyon up close. It is one of the deepest in the world!

We will return to the road, and during our journey back to Chivay we will make two stops. The first will be to explore Maca, a town declared a Historical Monument of Peru. The church will welcome us as the most important building, and the locals and their clothing will invite us to discover some of their traditions. In addition, we will visit Yanque, a town located in the heart of the Colca Valley.

We will return to Chivay so you can eat on your own and we will say goodbye to the city to head back to Arequipa. The tour will end there around 5:00 p.m.
