It is encircled by big fishpond with a huge temple area. The temple buildings are bursting with philosophy, stories, and religion. Inside this temple area, there is a small fishpond that encircles the main temple building. Other buildings in this temple area reflects the power of the empire with each function. Taman Ayun Temple is also called Mengwi Royal Temple cause of the storey and is a famous place to visit in Bali. Then, the trip will continue to Ulun Danu temple.
Pura Ulun DanuBeratan is one of the Hindu temples located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains, near Bedugul. Water temples serve the entire region in the outflow area; there are many smaller water temples downstream that are specific to each irrigation association (subak). This temple is built in 1633 and used for offerings ceremony to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as the main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11-storey Pelinggih Meru in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha's statue is also enshrined in this temple. This temple is also called Bali temple on the lake because it looks like it is floating when the Bratan river water rises. On the way to this temple, we will stop for a while to experience the Balinese traditional way in coffee production and coffee plantation.
After enjoying the temple on the Beratan lake, the trip will continue to visit one of the most beautiful tourist destinations, which is called Jatiluwih Rice terrace.
Jati Luwih Rice Terrace is located on the side of Mount Batukaru, overlooking the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. Relax in the cool climate of the highlands of Bali Subak, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 for its traditional subak irrigation system. It is optional to have lunch here but you can enjoy lunch overlooking the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace.
