We will begin our tour from Pasto, heading towards the villages that surround the majestic Galeras Volcano and enjoying Andean landscapes along the way. Our first stop will be in Nariño, where you can sample typical products and learn about some of the local culture.
We will continue our journey to La Florida, an area with a livestock and agricultural tradition, famous for its dairy products and artisanal flavours. There, we will stop to enjoy typical products made by local families.
Third, we will visit workshops in Sandona run by female artisans, who will share their techniques, stories, and traditional weaving processes, and where we will enjoy a traditional lunch.
The experience continues in Consacá, where verdant landscapes and crops line the way to the panela sugar mills. Here, you will learn about the artisanal process of processing sugarcane and will have the opportunity to taste the traditional Nariño-style melcocha (a type of caramel). Throughout the tour, you will interact with local communities, discover authentic flavours, and enjoy a cultural experience around the Galeras Volcano.
