Activity itinerary

Baku Old City

  • 30m
On your tour of Baku's Old City, you'll have the chance to explore the impressive fortress walls that have protected the city for centuries. Your journey will begin at the Double Gates, one of the main entrances to the Old City, which date back to the 12th century. These gates are a striking example of medieval Azerbaijani architecture and were historically used for both defence and trade. From here, you’ll begin a walk around the fortified walls, which stretch along the perimeter of the Old City. As you walk along the walls, your guide will explain their significance in Baku's history. Built to defend against invasions and protect the inhabitants, these walls were part of a larger fortification system that once included watchtowers, gates, and battlements. You’ll also see some of the original architectural features that have stood the test of time, offering a glimpse into the military strategy and defence mechanisms of the past.

Flame Towers

  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
We will begin with a scenic ride on the Baku Funicular, which takes us up towards the Flame Towers. Travellers will get the chance to admire these iconic skyscrapers up close, learning about their unique design and symbolism as a modern landmark of Azerbaijan. In the evening, the Flame Towers light up with a dazzling LED show, making them one of the city’s most unforgettable sights.

Martyrs' Lane

  • 15m
After seeing the Flame Towers, we will continue to Martyrs’ Lane, one of Baku’s most significant memorial sites. Here, travellers will learn about the tragic events of Black January (1990) and the sacrifices made for Azerbaijan’s independence. The alley is lined with black granite graves, each honouring the heroes who lost their lives. From this spot, visitors can also enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Baku and the Caspian Sea, making it both a place of remembrance and reflection, as well as a highlight of the city tour.

Highland Park

  • 30m
Following our visit to Martyrs’ Lane, we will explore Highland Park, the best viewpoint in Baku. Travellers will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Flame Towers, the Caspian Sea, and the sweeping city skyline. It’s the perfect spot for photos and to appreciate the contrast between Baku’s modern architecture and historical landmarks. Guests will also learn about the cultural and strategic importance of the area, making this stop both visually stunning and informative.

Deniz Mall

  • 15m
After enjoying the views from Highland Park, we will head to Deniz Mall, one of Baku’s most modern and stylish shopping and entertainment centers located right by the Caspian Sea. Travellers can admire the unique architecture of the building, designed in the shape of a giant lotus flower. Inside, guests will find a variety of international and local shops, cafes, and restaurants, along with entertainment options such as a cinema and family attractions. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy leisure time, and experience Baku’s modern lifestyle.

Little Venice

  • 15m
Next, we will visit Little Venice, a charming network of canals and bridges located along the Baku Boulevard. Travellers can enjoy a peaceful walk around the beautifully designed waterways or take a short gondola-style boat ride for a unique experience. Surrounded by greenery, fountains, and stunning views of the Caspian Sea, Little Venice offers a relaxing atmosphere and is one of the most picturesque spots in the city — perfect for photos and a leisurely break during the tour.

Baku Boulevard

  • 30m
We will then continue to Baku Boulevard, the city’s famous seaside promenade stretching along the Caspian Sea. Travellers will enjoy a relaxing walk surrounded by palm trees, fountains, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Along the way, you can see modern landmarks such as the Carpet Museum, the Caspian Waterfront, and various sculptures and art installations. Baku Boulevard is also a great place to experience the local lifestyle, with plenty of cafés, attractions, and stunning sea views, making it a highlight of any visit to the city.

Nizami str. /Tarqovi
