I'm Mendee — a local Mongolian girl from Uvs who knows this province inside and out. Having lived in Australia, I'm your English-speaking expert here!

Travel with me in a private small group of 2–6 for a personalised, immersive experience across glacial peaks, alpine lakes, hidden waterfalls, and golden desert dunes — breathtaking places almost no tourists have ever seen.

We use two vehicles for your comfort and safety: a Toyota RAV4 for Day 1 airport transfer, then a rugged UAZ 4x4 for Days 2–7 deep in Uvs Province's wilderness.

Day 1: Kharkhiraa mountain

Kharkhiraa Mountains (Pass by)

Arrive in Ulaangom, the provincial capital of Uvs. Meet your expedition guides, do a final gear check, and transfer by 4x4 vehicle into the foothills of the Kharkhoiraa range. Trek towards the glaciated slopes of this dramatic snow-capped massif, with panoramic views across the Altai foothills. Overnight in traditional ger camp. watch the Mongolian traditional dancers show.

Day 2: Goojuur Waterfall

Uvs Province (Pass by)

Descend towards the Goojuur river canyon to reach the thundering Goojuur waterfall, framed by red-rock cliffs and turquoise plunge pools — a highlight photo stop of the expedition. Afternoon exploring the surrounding canyon trails. Overnight camp near the falls. Watch skilled riders tame wild horses and race at full gallop for (ташуур шүүрэх) — thrilling, centuries-old Mongolian traditions live.

Day 3: Deglii Tsagaan Peak

Travel to the shimmering waters of Khyrgas Nuur, part of the Great Lakes Depression, framed by white limestone cliffs and mountain reflections. Spot migratory birds along the shoreline. Day 5: Uvs lake

Visit Uvs Nuur, Mongolia's largest lake and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the terminal lake of Central Asia's largest closed drainage basin. Lakeshore exploration and birdwatching, including resident swans. Evening cultural performance with traditional dance and music by local youth.

Day 6: Altan Els Desert

Day 7: Nomadic Herder Life & Departure

Ulaangom (Pass by)

A final hands-on morning with a nomadic herder family: help put up a traditional ger, milk goats, prepare tsagaan idee (dairy foods), and watch a saddle crafted by hand — skills passed down through generations of Uvs herders. Transfer back to Ulaangom in the afternoon for departure.
