Meet your driver at your hotel in Banyuwangi and travel comfortably towards Mount Ijen. Arrive at the Ijen parking area, meet your local guide, receive a safety briefing, prepare for the hike, and take a short rest before starting.

Start your nighttime hike towards Mount Ijen under the stars. Your guide will accompany you throughout the trek and provide assistance along the way. Reach the crater area. If access is officially permitted and conditions are safe, descend towards the crater to look for the famous Blue Fire.

During your time around the crater, witness the Blue Fire when, observe traditional sulphur miners at work, learn about Ijen’s volcanic activity and geology, and experience the unique atmosphere of the crater after dark.

Climb back towards the crater rim and continue to the sunrise viewpoint. Relax with a warm coffee or tea while waiting for sunrise. Watch the changing colours illuminate the turquoise crater lake and surrounding mountains.

Enjoy free time for photography while your guide shares stories about Mount Ijen, its volcanic landscape, and local sulphur mining traditions. Begin your trek back to the parking area. Depart from the Ijen area and travel back to Banyuwangi. Arrive back at your hotel, marking the end of your Ijen adventure.
