Experience the magic of the sunset on Mount Etna with a picturesque excursion in special 4x4 vehicles. Starting from Piano Provenzana – Etna Nord, you will be accompanied by a licensed volcanology guide along a route that will first take you to the edge of one of the craters that went dormant in 2002, where you can explore a spectacular landscape and learn interesting facts about the volcano's recent history.

Taking the 4x4 bus again, you will ascend to an altitude of 2,850 metres, right at the base of the summit craters, from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Bove Valley and the Leone Valley and admire the volcano's main craters up close. Here you will have plenty of time to walk, take photos and ask the guide questions, while the golden light of the sunset colours the lunar landscape of Mount Etna.

As the sun sets, the 4x4 bus will take you back comfortably to the starting point, bringing to a close a day full of wonder, views, and new knowledge.
