This pleasant walk to learn about the history of the city and the painter begins at the Town Hall Square.
Enjoy an expert commentary on the most complete pictorial work of the greatest artist associated with the city of Toledo, El Greco. Get a novel vision of the Catholic teaching on life and death, structured in two parts: the earthly and the heavenly. Learn about the iconographic content of the painting.
We will also enter an original 16th century Toledo house, which preserves its entrance hall, courtyard, Manchegan kitchen, desk, garden and chapel, with some of the best paintings of El Greco, including the best complete Apostolate of the three preserved, the best painting of the city of Toledo and the portraits of the Covarrubias brothers.
Finally we can see some parts of an authentic cloistered convent such as the old choir, a cloister and medieval chapter house, to get a good idea of life in the cloister and learn about the first works of the painter in the city.
