Activity itinerary

Tony Knowles Coastal Trail
  • 30m
After seeing many works of public art in city centre, the tour makes it's way down to the Coastal Trail bike path. From there, you can see stunning views of Cook Inlet, Lake Clark National Park, Sleeping Lady Mountain, and even Denali (on a clear day).
Chester Creek Greenbelt
  • 55m
The Chester Creek Greenbelt is our link from City centre to the UAA campus, and includes stops at public art along the way. The area has dense birch and spruce forest, and moose and bear are regularly seen (no promises, though!)
Campbell Creek Greenbelt
  • 55m
Our tour starts and ends with Campbell Creek Greenbelt. The trail here offers stunning views of the Chugach Mountains as well as spruce and birch forest.
