What you can expect

  • Join a guided walking tour and traverse the famous city walls of Dubrovnik, a beautiful reminder of distant medieval times. Marvel at breathtaking views as you walk the 2-kilometer wall surrounding the town and see for yourself why the Old City of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dubrovnik has preserved its city walls despite changing trends that once suggested any types of fortifications are obsolete and redundant.
Admire the terracotta roofs and narrow streets from above. In addition, enjoy the clear vista over the Adriatic sea, revealing just about any boat on the horizon. This view explains why the city was successfully defended for centuries.
The town survived many wars, including the recent Homeland War from 1991-1995, but Dubrovnik was renewed in a manner that the damage is not visible.
Find out why the city of Dubrovnik has inspired artists, writers and photographers as you explore the ancient Mediterranean city and wander along the elegant walls.
