Your private dream tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point in Athens. After breakfast, you'll begin by heading towards the National Park of Valia Calda and the Aoos Springs, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Pindus Mountain range. Upon reaching Valia Calda, you’ll have the opportunity to explore its serene beauty full of rich flora and fauna. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility away from the crowds. You will have the opportunity to kayak in the Aoos river springs lake known for its crystal-clear waters. It is the highest artificial lake in Greece at 1.350 metres altitude.
Metsovo
You’ll continue your journey to Metsovo, a charming mountain town known for its traditional stone houses and rich cultural heritage. As you approach Metsovo, the landscape transforms into picturesque alpine meadows. Once in Metsovo, you can immerse yourself in the town’s history, explore its local museums, and enjoy some of its famous cheeses and wines before heading to Ioannina.

Early in the morning you will head to Monodendri to meet your guide, for your hike at Vikos Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world, located in the Pindus Mountains of northern Greece. It has been carved over millions of years by the Voidomatis River, a tributary of the Aoos River. The mountain's slopes reveal rock formations of limestone and dolomite that date back 150 million years. Its vertical cliffs rise to a height of 1700 metres. Crossing it is an incredible experience, offering breathtaking views, rugged landscapes, and pristine nature. The expert guide accompanying you will give you information about this amazing trekking location and assist you throughout the hike.
Stone Forest

You can either relax at the ‘Beach of Konitsa’, the name that the locals have given to the banks of Aoos river or opt to hike at the Via Ferrata of Konitsa. It is an exhilarating climbing route along the steep cliffs of the Aoos Gorge, offering breathtaking views of the river and surrounding mountains. This climbing path features metal cables, ladders, and bridges, making it accessible to adventurers with moderate experience and physical strength. One of its highlights is the impressive hanging bridge suspended high above the Aoos River at 35m height. Your expert guide will help you along the way and keep you safe by implementing all the necessary safety measures and making sure that you are following the regulations. After your hike you will head to Tzoumerka for overnight.
