If you've chosen the private tour, slow the pace down as you climb onto the back of a charismatic camel for a calmer ride in the desert. Admire the views from your vantage point on your camel's back, and learn about their importance in the Bedouin life of the desert-dwelling beasts.

Take to the sand for some sandboarding fun as you slip and slide down the dunes. Anyone can enjoy sandboarding, and your guide is on hand to help you out.

During the day you have the option to add on a 1-hour quad biking experience if you like a little more action on your day.

Before returning to your Doha accommodation, stop at the nearby Inland Sea. Here 3 massive sand dunes meet to form a shallow, salty inlet. With turquoise blue waters, you can grab some great photos of the picturesque landscape.
