    The tour includes an open-top bus ride. If the weather's bad, we'll use a covered bus.

    During the journey, the bus will make scenic and photo stops along the road leading to Mount Etna and the village of Nicolosi, a quaint village on the slopes of the volcano.

    The main destination is the Monti Silvestri square (about 1,900 metres above sea level), where the bus will stop so you can visit the extinct craters and admire the breathtaking view of the Ionian coast.

What you can expect

The tour kicks off at 11:30 AM from our office at Via Vittorio Emanuele II 155, just a short walk from Catania Cathedral. From here, the route winds through the picturesque Etnean villages to Nicolosi, where a short stop lets you soak up the authentic atmosphere of the village at the foot of the volcano.

The journey continues towards Etna, up to the Sapienza Refuge. Here, you'll have about three hours of free time to enjoy the experience at your own pace: take the cable car or jeep to the central crater (services not included), walk along the craters, explore the surroundings, or simply relax in the bars and restaurants, admiring spectacular views ranging from the volcano to the sea.

On the way back, we'll stop in Zafferana Etnea, a charming village famous for its honey and local products. You can taste different varieties of local honey and discover the authentic flavours of the area.

The experience wraps up in Catania around 6:00 pm, with a return to the same office at Via Vittorio Emanuele II 155.
