What's included, what's not

    The tour includes travel by open-top bus. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the service will be provided with a closed bus.

    During the journey, the bus will make stops for views and photos along the road that leads to Mount Etna and in the village of Nicolosi, a picturesque hamlet on the slopes of the volcano.

    The main destination is the Monti Silvestri clearing (approximately 1,900 metres above sea level), where the bus will stop to allow you to visit the extinct craters and admire the breathtaking panorama of the Ionian Coast.

    From this point, Jeeps, quads, and the cable car also depart to continue towards the summit of the volcano (optional activities not included in the price).

    On the return journey, there will be a stop in Zafferana Etnea, with a free honey tasting. Honey and souvenirs will be available for purchase in the same shop.

What you can expect

  • The tour starts at 11:30 AM at our office in Via Vittorio Emanuele II 155, just a few steps from the Cathedral of Catania. From here, the route winds through the picturesque villages of Etna to Nicolosi, where a short stop will be made.

    The trip continues towards Mount Etna, up to Rifugio Sapienza. Here, participants will have approximately three hours of free time to enjoy the experience at their own pace: take a cable car or jeep up to the central crater (services not included), walk along the craters, explore the surroundings, or simply relax in the bars and restaurants, admiring spectacular views that range from the volcano to the sea.

    On the way back, there is a stop in Zafferana Etnea, a charming village famous for its honey and typical products.

    The experience ends in Catania around 6:00 PM, with drop-off at the same office in Via Vittorio Emanuele II 155.

    The tour may be conducted using the open bus (shown in the photos) or alternatively a closed bus, depending on the temperature and weather conditions. This is at the company's discretion.
