This hike covers more ground and explores glacial topography in depth, taking you through the forested area near the Nenana River, wildlife-rich sub-alpine tundra, and beautiful alpine tundra with its highly adapted plants and panoramic views. Distance: 5-7 miles Elevation gain: 1,500–1,800 feet Max group size: 7 guests Recommended ages 15-70yrs Gear Recommendations Sturdy hiking shoes, layered clothing, rain gear, water, camera, and curiosity. Note: This tour frequently operates just outside Denali National Park on public lands, allowing access to remote and varied terrain.
