What you can expect

  • Discover Kosovo on a full-day guided tour from Tirana, combining the modern energy of Pristina with the history, culture, and Ottoman charm of Prizren. The tour lasts approximately 12–13 hours, depending on traffic and border-crossing conditions.

The official tour departure is at 7:00 AM, but hotel pick-ups begin earlier as we need to collect all participants before leaving Tirana. Depending on your accommodation and the day’s pick-up route, your pick-up may be scheduled between approximately 6:00 and 6:45 AM. Your guide will contact you via WhatsApp one day before the tour to confirm your exact pick-up time and location.

Travel north through the landscapes of Albania towards the Kosovo border, with the possibility of a short coffee or bathroom break along the way. Please remember to bring your passport, as it is required for the border crossing.

Our first stop is usually Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Enjoy an approximately one-hour guided walking tour through the city centre and discover some of its best-known landmarks. See the iconic NEWBORN Monument, walk along the main pedestrian area, visit the exterior of Mother Teresa Cathedral, and admire the distinctive architecture of the National Library of Kosovo. Along the way, learn more about Pristina, everyday life, and Kosovo’s recent history.

We then continue approximately one hour to Prizren, where we spend the largest part of our day.

Often considered the cultural and historical heart of Kosovo, Prizren is known for its cobbled streets, Ottoman-era architecture, traditional restaurants, and beautiful setting beneath the mountains.

Follow your guide through the historic centre and Old Bazaar, cross the famous Stone Bridge, and discover Shadervan Square and the impressive Sinan Pasha Mosque. We also explore important historical landmarks such as the League of Prizren area and the Ottoman Hammam.

After the walking tour, enjoy free time to experience Prizren at your own pace. Have lunch at a local restaurant, relax with a coffee beside the river, shop for souvenirs, or explore the charming old streets and take photos.

In the afternoon, begin the journey back to Albania, arriving in Tirana in the evening. The total tour duration is usually 12–13 hours, although the exact return time may vary depending on traffic and waiting times at the border.

The usual route visits Pristina first and Prizren second. However, depending on traffic, weather, border conditions, or other circumstances, the guide may reverse the order of the cities. The main itinerary and visits remain the same.
