What you can expect

Embark on a unique Bay of Islands cruise, navigating your way through some 144 islands on Albert Fuller's 1920s delivery route - the Cream Trip route - used to deliver post and supplies to residents of the remote islands. Step on board your luxurious catamaran and enjoy a open-air viewing deck or comfortable interior, depending how you feel, as you set out to sea on your Bay of Islands cruise. Listen to informative commentary from your knowledgeable and friendly crew and learn about the history of the region as you head towards Cape Brett Lighthouse. Approach the Cape Brett Lighthouse and cast your eyes upon the farthest point of the original Cream Trip, before visiting the famous wave-carved arch on Motukokako Island known as the Hole in the Rock. If you're lucky with the weather and ocean conditions, your captain will carefully navigate through the tight space for an unforgettable Hole in the Rock experience. As you cruise, keep your eyes peeled for playful dolphins and other marine life , enjoy a thrill as you try boom netting, hanging onto the net as the boat glides across the water! Next up, our crew will select the best Island stop on the day where you are free to swim, relax or take a walk before your returning cruise and ride back to Paihia or Russell.
