What you can expect

Begin your walk at the abandoned village of Gerovasa, where the first waterfall — Paradision — appears immediately. Its soft cascade marks the entrance to a gorge shaped entirely by water and pale, easily sculpted rock.

From here, follow a gentle river path into a cool, shaded valley. Over thousands of years, flowing water has carved smooth surfaces, rounded edges, narrow passages, and small natural pools. The gorge is full of subtle beauty: filtered light, mossy corners, tiny cascades, and the quiet sound of water moving through stone.

Along the way, your guide shares simple geophotography prompts — small observation cues that help you notice textures, colours, and patterns you might otherwise miss. No technical skills are needed; it’s about slowing down and seeing the landscape with fresh eyes.

At the far end of the trail, the gorge opens to the impressive Trozena Waterfall, where water spills into a natural pool surrounded by greenery. After spending time here, you return along the same scenic path.

This is a calm, refreshing nature experience ideal for travellers who love waterfalls, river paths, and hidden landscapes.
