Discover the natural wonders of Cusco on a 2-day tour. Visit the Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake, and admire the stunning landscapes of the Andes.

On the first day, visit the Rainbow Mountain. Be picked up in Cusco and travel by car for 2 hours to the district of Cusipata - Paucarpata. Have breakfast and then travel by car for 1 hour to the checkpoint to start the hike.

Walk for 1.5 hours and observe the flora and fauna typical of the Andes, including llamas and alpacas. Arrive at the Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain lookout point. Your guide will explain the geography, ecosystem, and colour of the mountain. Take photos and admire the beautiful landscape. Return to the starting point and have lunch in Cusipata.

On the second day, visit Humantay Lake. Be picked up in Cusco and travel by car for 2.5 hours to the town of Mollepata. Have breakfast and then travel by car for 1.5 hours to the community of Soraypampa.

Start a 2-kilometer hike to the Humantay Lake. The trail is uphill and will take around 1.5-2 hours. Admire the panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, natural landscapes, and diverse flora and fauna.

Arrive at the turquoise Humantay Lake and participate in a stone-laying ceremony to thank the spirits for allowing you to visit this magical place. Walk around the lake and learn about its history from your guide.

Descend to Soraypampa and have an Andean lunch. Return to Cusco and be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
